Yoga every day!

Woman exercising

I managed to work out the entire weekend, although it was hard to maintain my water intake. The variation in yoga the past few days has been such that I really feel it afterward. The hamstrings and glutes are STILL feeling the squats in addition to holding certain poses like chair and palm.

While sun salutations are the staple of my routine, I am really trying to incorporate other poses to diversify and strengthen areas that I am not familiar with. The Warrior Pose is such a pose. Strengthening the thighs, back, calves, ankles, and shoulders while stretching the chest, lungs, neck, abs and groin is phenomenal!

Remember to breathe deeply and concentrate on opening all of those areas to the grace and wonders of the universe.

Your post of November 16 (my daughter's birthday) brought a smile to my face. Both of my children are yoga advocates (it cured my son of his depression about 7 years ago), and my daughter celebrated her birthday with "yoga, Ethiopian food, lots of wine, and poker with friends"
