Do You Know What It Is To Miss New Orleans ...

This fascinates me because my Gran would have been 2 years old. My Gran's mother and sister were listed in the census in 1912 as "Living in the French Quarter" ... I have no one to ask where they lived when she my grandmother was born ... fascinated nonetheless ...

I've really been enjoying your NOLA series! New Orleans is one of our favorite cities! We fell back in love there (after a little gift was left on Marie Laveau's tomb that my now husband didn't fess up to for over a decade). We also got engaged in New Orleans (total surprise!!) after dating off & on for 4 years. In the 90's I went to the Jazz & Heritage Fest every other year. My husband has gone twice for work in recent years without the family, and I have to say I'm a bit jealous. The history and mystery and music and culture of NOLA draw me and I can't wait to get back there!
