This video/song has caused SO much backlash. I was in NOLA for MardiGras when it released and was too busy MardiGrasing to pay attention to all of the hoopla! I played it over and over because it is ALL NOLA.
In my opinion, FORMATION is all about being native in America ... and the people who have family from New Orleans know that it is a different way of life. New Orleanians have their own culture and bleed it. To me this video is all NO, so ENJOY it for that alone and learn a bit more about New Orleans and the special way of life. #WHODAT
