I Have A Dream...

All of these years later, racism is ALIVE and WELL.

Many of our fellow Americans would rather be knee-deep in debt and hatred than back our black President.

Their hatred oozes in their everyday lives and on social media. It makes me so sad to know that nationalism means nothing to those blinded by their treacherous, murderous, venomous racial divide.

No shame in their game, 45 years after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was gunned down like an animal, ALL of the same debates remain in place:

Equality for all human beings - yes, men and women of all colors, genders, sexual orientations, health statuses and religions.

Gun control

Take note, we've advanced technology to the point where we can click on our computers, pay our bills, see friends and relatives around the globe and set technology down on other planets but we continue to have no regard for others different than we are. How stupid is that?

SO people, on THIS particular Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (and Inauguration Day - Second Term for the Biracial President ) please reflect!

YES, we have "Come A Long Way, Baby" (many of you who are as old as me, will remember this line!) but we have a LONG WAY TO GO.

Women across the globe should not be GANG-RAPED for staying out past 8, SHOT IN THE HEAD for going to school, forced to carry unwanted pregnancies or rear their children in poverty. Men of color should be valued and not target practice.

Religions are worship, live and let live.

Speak of the dream, we are at the mountain top, so stop allowing others to be thrown off into the night or shot for no damn good reason at all but playing music too loudly.

Dammit, I HAVE A DREAM TOO and it is going to come true!
