As post-tropical storm Sandy rages across so very many states, I am reminded of the incredible first trip I had this past summer to NYC to attend Blogher and visit my cousin.
Learning that Staten Island Ferry, along with every other mode of transportation, has been shut-down has been eerie! Word is just coming out that the subways are indeed flooding...
I feel so helpless and afraid and I am just a tourist, how must all the people living in the danger zone be feeling???
This super storm is said to be a 100-year storm.
Rightfully so as it is stalling weather systems across the U.S., and as it threatens shutting down Lake Shore Drive tomorrow with its residual 50 mile hour winds!
