American Lives 2 ~ PBS

I know Black History was in February, but today, as we honor #42, Jackie Robinson, and his historic contribution to MLB and these United States, let's look, listen and learn...our varied ancestry and the loads our family trees carry are beautuful, and remarkable. We are ALL important, no matter our color or creed...and we all have value and should appreciate one another ~ SO ENJOY!

The entire series that began in 2006 has been phenomenal. Reading Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Professor, writer, historian, is similar to having coffee with a dear friend. Watching the heart-felt journeys, of those we love is amazing and introspective.
