4 years ago, I had the honor and privilege of being a part of the very first Women Driving Excellence at the 2013 #Chicago #Auto #Show. Created by my two mentors and Chicago's social media mavens, MJ Tam and Beth Rosen of the popular #ChicagonistaLIVE online, streaming talk show, Women Driving Excellence began as a pathway for Chicago Auto Show attendees to mix, mingle and partake in a local, extraordinary ceremony celebrating the women of our community during a special program that recognizes those who exemplify unique vision and talent, fueled by the fire and passion that can be made only in Chicago.
I have had true admiration for all of our honorees, but this year is special because it is number 4!
Beginning at 10 am, Tuesday February 16th at the McCormick Place, 108th #Chicago Auto Show, the Women Driving Excellence team will celebrate 5 women by lifting them up through the use of our powerful social networks. We hope this event will inspire all women to continue empowering and engaging other women to do greatness with and for each other.
Tuesday's event will include a full day program honoring and celebrating innovative, entrepreneurial, accomplished, businesswomen in Chicagoland. New this year is the Leading Women in Tech panel lead by Katy Lynch, CEO at Techweek, with Elisa All Founder & CEO of 30Second Mobile, and Yana Nirshberg of ParadigmNEXT. In addition, there will be a GPS Pitch Engine Competition built in partnership with Inventorz Network Co-Founder Dhana Cohen and will be judged by Jimmy Lee, CEO of Goodcity Chicago, Dahlia Saper of Saper Law and Debi Lilly of A Perfect Event.
